In my years of personal training I have discovered there are many people, both men and women, who come to see me with the goal of losing weight, improving their strength and endurance, and a myriad of other health and fitness goals, then progress beyond those initial goals into the wonderful world of physique contests. For many folks, they realize it requires much more dedication, concentration, discipline, and sacrifice than they first imagined.

Competing in physique contests is a great way to not only show off all your hard work in the gym and at the dinner table, it is a great way to raise your own level of awareness of what you can actually do with your body when you set a goal, develop a strategy to achieve that goal, and execute the tactics necessary on a day in and day out basis leading up to the date of the contest.

I have competed in physique contests since I was 18 years old and have trained many other people for their contests. There are many things that go into contest prep that must be addressed if you want to be successful.

I work with you through the whole process from start to finish, both creating the necessary structure and managing the outcome. It's about assessing your body and making sure we're doing the right thing based on your body, body type, and even factoring in personal things like your preferences. I'll start with the overall design of your program and then we'll move into daily communication, helping with the meal set-up, checking the details of how you're getting started, and then we move into some detailed weekly assessing of your progress. We manage the process by making sure you're sparing muscle, you're going to be lean enough to win on the necessary condition requirements, and then the final peaking process is where I make sure you can get on stage at your best possible – no guessing, no missed peaks, but controlling the whole process, and all with a team approach.
